INGREDIENTS

Unsalted Butter Granulated Sugar Granny Smith Apples Pandoro or Brioche Bread Whole Milk Heavy Cream Eggs Cinnamon Lemon Juice Caramel Sauce

Peel, core, and cut the apples in wedges. Choose either to use raw or partially cooked and lightly caramelized apples.

APPLES

Trim the pandoro bread and cut it into chunks or cubes. Arrange the bread on top of the apples. It will be uneven.

BREAD

Mix milk, cream, eggs, and egg yolk in a medium bowl or pitcher. Do not beat. Pour this mixture slowly over bread, gently pressing down to absorb the liquid.

MILK MIXTURE

Let it soak at room temperature for about 15 minutes. Bake for about 40 minutes, until the liquid is absorbed and the crust is golden.

BAKE

Serve warm or at room temperature with caramel sauce or homemade dulce de leche.
