NO-KNEAD FRENCH BREAD
No-Knead French Bread
In the food processor put flour, salt and yeast. Make sure the last two are NOT touching.
Start your processor and add water through the feed tube.
Count 20 seconds and check if the dough needs more water or not.
Process 25 more seconds (45 total) and that's it!
Put the soft dough in a clean bowl, cover and let proof. I use the microwave (don't press start!)
Dump onto clean surface, cut and loosely shape each piece. Cover and let rest.
Form the bread into baguettes or batards (thinner or thicker loaves).
Let rest again and then score (make cuts).
Put pan with boiling water in the oven to create steam.
Cook for 25-30 minutes until golden and they sound hollow if you turn them over and lightly tap the bottom with your fingers.
