Ingredients

Instructions

  • Stir 1 cup light brown sugar, ½ cup white sugar, ½ cup apple powder and 2 tablespoons apple pie spice mix until well combined and integrated and the mixture's color is even.
If it’s lumpy, pass it through a medium sieve or dissolve the lumps with the back of a spoon.
  • Transfer the apple cider mix to an airtight container or mason jar. Glass is preferred.
  • Store in a cool, dry place (like the pantry or a cupboard) for up to 2 months.
  • To prepare apple cider, put a tablespoon of the mix in a mug or cup and fill it with hot water. Stir, taste and adjust for more powder if necessary.

Notes

Adjust the sweetness: it's very easy to use more or less sugar depending on your personal preference.
Experiment with spices: use just ground cinnamon or a little more ginger. Make it your own.
