Peaches Yogurt or buttermilk Brown sugar Cornstarch Flour Salt Lemon juice Cinnamon (optional) Ginger (optional)

Mix peaches with sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch and flavorings.

Scatter peach mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Biscuit topping: mix dry ingredients with melted butter and yogurt/buttermilk.

Combine *just* until no dry spots remain. Don't overmix.

Drop mounds on top of the peaches, leaving space between them.

Bake until golden brown and the biscuits are fully baked.

Let cool.  Serve it plain, at room temperature.

Or warm, with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream.

Refrigerate leftovers covered, to prevent dryness.
