INGREDIENTS

Cornstarch

Light brown sugar

Lemon juice

Water

Vanilla extract

Wash and peel peaches. Open in half and cut three or four wedges from each half. Add to bowl with brown sugar & let stand for 30 minutes.

PREP THE PEACHES

Natural juices will release from the peaches, drain this into a medium saucepan using a colander then return the peaches to the bowl.

Add cornstarch to your saucepan and mix well with a hand whisk until there are no lumps. Add water if required.

Softly boil at medium heat to thicken the cornstarch. Then add the liquid to the peaches. Let cool completely before using.

Fresh Fruit: Is best but this can also be made using unsweetened frozen peaches. Storage: Can be stored in the refrigerator for 4-5 days, or freeze. How to Use: Use this peach filling in a cobbler, peach dump cake or crumble.
