A bottom layer of sweet, juicy pears topped with a tender biscuit topping!

YIELD: 10 servings PREP TIME: 30 minutes BAKING TIME: 40 minutes

FILLING Pears | Sugar Cinnamon | Water Cornstarch | Lemon Juice TOPPING Flour | Brown Sugar Baking Powder | Salt Whole Milk | Unsalted Butter


Peel, core and cut pears in small chunks.

Put pear pieces in the dish, drizzle lemon juice, and sprinkle cinnamon sugar.

Mix cornstarch with water and drizzle over pear chunks.

For the biscuit topping: mix dry ingredients with melted butter and milk.

Drop mounds of biscuit batter and spread them a little, not too much.

Bake as directed making sure the topping is fully baked.

Serve at room temperature or warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
